I am in Mid Devon, in the Blackdown Hills. For workshops and working in-person I travel up to an hour from home, with occasional trips to London, Bristol and Plymouth. Online, I am very happy to work nationally and internationally.
I work with all Neurodivergences! And love the variety, I work with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, Autism(ASD), Dyscalculia, Developmental Coordination Disorder/Dyspraxia, and Developmental Language Disorder....and many more!
Its important to say I work with all disabilities, I am experienced at working with wheelchair users and people with physical disabilities.I also work with people experiencing a range of mental health conditions and am experienced in supporting complex needs in the workplace.
Yes, please get in touch! A lot of the people I work with, can regularly get overwhelmed and I am here to support them, from support with filling in the essential forms you've been putting off (that seem like a nightmare) to coaching about how to manage. I have supported many neurodivergent people, who have found me kind, calm and "unflappable" even when things feel overwhelming or impossibly complicated.
I've worked with people facing all kinds of challenges—some related to neurodivergence, some not, many deeply personal and sensitive. I'm experienced in holding space for complex situations that others shy away from, and I do it with complete confidentiality and zero judgment.
In short, yes! I have some clients I see for a 8-10 hours each week in a Job Aide style role, then I have coaching clients I see on a weekly basis, while others prefer monthly check ins. I always keep space in my diary for my regular talks, workshops and new clients, so get in touch!
An important part of the work I do is creating Access Riders. An Access Rider is a document that outlines a person's access needs and requirements - particularly for neurodivergent people, disabled people, or those with specific health conditions. It helps clients communicate their needs upfront. It removes the burden of repeatedly explaining their requirements and ensures they feel safe and understood.
Some of the Access Riders I make are a punchy couple of pages, while others are 50 pages long for those with more complex needs, they can be anything how to get the best out of an individual on a average day in the office or meeting there needs on a complex tour schedule with different locations daily. Have a look on the Access Riders page for more information. If you feel like this is what you or a colleague needs get in touch to discuss how I can support you.
Sessions usually range from 1 hour to 4 hours, but it really depends on whether you're looking for coaching, workshops, individual support or support for your team. My individual support work is inline with amounts set by the Department of Work and Pensions - Access to Work. Because my work is so varied, it's best to drop me a line with what you're looking for and I can give you a price.
If you have a website that you can't be without for knowledge and news on all things Neurodiversity, let me know here!
I understand that life with a neurodivergent brain can be unpredictable, and sometimes things don't go to plan! And we can sort it out....
Cancellations: Please give me 48 hours notice where possible by text, email, or WhatsApp. I won't charge for cancellations made with enough notice.
Late cancellations: If you cancel with 24-48 hours' notice, I'll charge 50% of the session fee. Less than 24 hours notice or not showing up means I'll need to charge the full session fee.
However - I completely understand that mental health crises, illness, emergencies, burnout, and executive dysfunction happen. These are real challenges, not excuses. Please just communicate with me about what's going on and we can try and work something out.
If I need to cancel: I'll give you as much notice as possible and won't charge you.
Yes I am experienced at helping with all sorts of applications, and for funding. I have successfully help people apply for Access to Work, PIP and other government support schemes. I have helped people with Arts Council and grant funding applications. I feel a massive amount of joy when their funding comes through!
Its worth saying, while I'm great at supporting people with applications, the ideas are all theirs! I'm there to get the ideas down on paper, the text sounding great and grammatically correct. I support people navigating complex forms and application documents, as well as liaising with the funding bodies.
And a lot of the time, if you ask an organisation they often have a budget for access support, so neurodivergent and disabled people aren't held back in the applications. Often I'm able to ask for this on the client's behalf to fund their work with me.
