Daniele was born in Bergamo, a city near Milan in Italy in 1994.
In 2023 he obtained his B.Sc. in Chemistry at Università degli Studi di Milano with a thesis centered on the synthesis of Todalam’s analogues as new ligands for Tubulin, for the European Project “TubInTrain” (H2020-MSCA-ITN-2019-EJD) with the group of Prof. Daniele Passarella. In 2024, he gained his M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences at University of Pavia with full marks. Under the guidance of Prof. Mauro Freccero, he defended a thesis titled “Non-natural amino acids as disrupting G-quadruplex molecular tools”.
In the same year, he won a Ph.D. scholarship from University of Pavia where he joined the group of Prof. Dr. Filippo Doria with a project titled “Chemical strategies for targeting G-Quadruplex nucleic acids including stem loops" .
