Facilities

The main synthesis laboratory is equipped with four high-efficiency fume hoods and a dedicated air recirculation system connected to the external environment, ensuring safe and controlled working conditions. The lab hosts a variety of instrumentation including two analytical balances, a precision balance, a UV lamp, six rotary evaporators with glycol chillers, a microwave synthesizer, two Biotage Isolera systems (Selekt and Isolera One) for flash purification, an ultrasonic bath, and four refrigerators for the storage of reagents and products. Ventilated cabinets for solvents and chemical reagents are also available to ensure proper containment and safety.

One of the instrument rooms is dedicated to spectroscopic and preliminary bio- and photophysical investigations. It is equipped with UV-Vis spectrophotometers and fluorimeters suitable for a wide range of absorbance and fluorescence-based assays. The room provides a controlled environment for the characterization of compounds, monitoring of photophysical behavior, and basic studies on molecular interactions in solution.

Another dedicated room hosts our purification systems and peptide synthesis platform. It includes two preparative HPLC systems and one analytical HPLC for compound purification and quality control. A modern freeze dryer is available for solvent removal and product stabilization. The room also features a state-of-the-art automated peptide synthesizer, enabling the efficient production of custom peptides for a variety of applications.
