I’m Cristiano Stringa and I was born in 2002, in Voghera. I graduated in Chemistry Bachelor degree in 2024 under Prof. Maurizio Fagnoni supervision. The work was based on bibliographic research about photoremovable protecting group used in organic synthesis. In 2026, I obtained my M.Sc. with an experimental thesis which was concerned about studying hydroxyl protective groups’ effects on decarbonylation process of acyl radicals generated by HAT processes using α-oxy-aldehydes and TBADT as photocatalyst, under Prof. Maurizio Fagnoni supervision. During September of the same year, I won a Ph.D. scholarship from University of Pavia; the project is based on novel strategies, such as helicase-mimic molecular machines, to treat DNA secondary structure-related disorders, under Prof. Mauro Freccero supervision.
I love my pets and my agonistic horse and their cures. Building LEGOs, scale modelling and total synthesis of organic molecules are also used by me as little relaxing hobbies.
