Welcome to Room B 

Mr. Preza is thrilled to be a fourth-grade teacher at Lietz Elementary! This is his eleventh year at the school, though he has been part of the Union School District since 2014. Prior to becoming an elementary teacher, he served the Los Gatos community for eight years as an early childhood educator and program director. He received his bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development and his multiple subject teaching credential from San Jose State University. Beyond the classroom, Mr. Preza serves or has served on USD committees focused on classroom technology, PBIS, and culturally responsive education.

In his free time, Mr. Preza loves spending quality time with his husband, family, friends, and two cats. He enjoys bowling, catching the latest movies, and hosting board game nights. When relaxing on his own, he likes reading horror novels and playing video games. Mr. Preza's hidden talent? An shockingly high win rate at claw machines.

To many in both his professional and personal life, Mr. Preza is known as a diplomat with an old soul and the heart of a child.
