XVI SCIENTIFIC INITIATION SYMPOSIUM AND XII GRADUATE MEETING OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MARÍLIA 2025: PLURAL SCIENCE FOR A CHANGING WORLD
The Organizing Committee of the XVI Scientific Initiation Symposium and the XII Graduate Meeting of the University of Marília, under the theme “Plural Science for a Changing World”, is pleased to invite you to present your research and publish it in the Abstract Proceedings, indexed under ISSN 2176-8544.
The presentations will take place from November 4 to 7, 2025, both in person and online (for distance-learning students), ensuring the participation of all. Submissions must be made and evaluated through the 4.Events system (https://lets.4.events/ ). Please carefully follow the submission guidelines so that your research can contribute to our broad knowledge panel.
1. AN INVITATION TO TRANSFORMATION AND DIALOGUE
In today’s world, science can no longer exist in isolation. True innovation emerges from the connection between different fields of knowledge, from dialogue among minds, and from the search for solutions that embrace the whole. This is the essence of the symposium.
This year, the talent of students and the dedication of professors will be celebrated, as together they build a more plural and sustainable future. The objectives are to stimulate creativity, critical thinking, and, above all, the ability to use research to generate a positive impact on society. In short, the symposium values research that is collaborative, that “thinks outside the box,” and that strives for tangible, positive impact on the world.
The symposium serves as a stage to demonstrate how research aligns with society’s needs, shaping professionals who are not only specialists but also true agents of change.
