Abstract submission and presentations

Oral presentations

Oral presentations will be organized into sessions of approximately ten related talks. Only one abstract per participant can be submitted for oral presentation. Each talk is 15 minutes. Please note that the duration given to your oral presentation includes 3 min. for questions and discussion, e.g. a 15 min. talk should be 12 min. actual presentation + 3 min. discussion. Your presentation must be prepared in a 4:3 dimension.

Each session room will be equipped with a computer with Powerpoint, a digital projector, and a laser pointer. You will not be able to use your own computer. If you wish to show a film as part of your presentation then it needs to be in the file format WMV (Window Media Video).

Poster presentations

The poster board space is 100 cm high and 80 cm wide.

Abstracts should be submitted to the secretary of the meeting in electronic format along with the invoice related to the payment done: taphos2025@unife.it

The deadline for abstract submission is 4th May, 2025. A scientific committee will evaluate the abstracts. Abstracts should be informative, presenting clearly the main objectives, the most significant results and a discussion. Abstracts have to be exclusively written in English.

Abstracts should be up to two A4 pages, with 3 cm for each margin, single spaced, and written with the following format (word. file):

Title: Helvetica; 14 points; bold; upper cases; left justified.

Author(s): Full author(s) name(s); Helvetica 14 points; plain, lower text; left justified.

Address(es) and affiliation(s): Full address(es) and affiliation(s) will follow the author(s) name(s); Helvetica 10 points; plain text; left justified.

Main text: Helvetica 11 points; plain text after one free space; text justified at both margins.

References and tables are not permitted.

Figures: Only one figure should be included in the text at the publication size and in their corresponding place within the text. The caption should be in Helvetica 10 points; text centred in relation with the document and with the figure.
