The Trans Metro Dewata System, the rather new public transport system, has been given the official nickname “Teman Bus”.
“Teman” – a word meaning “friend” in Indonesian is also an acronym for “Transportasi ekonomis, mudah, andal, nyaman” (Economical-easy-dependable—comfortable). In keeping with its name, the new bus system will strive to be comfortable and convenient. Buses are equipped with CCTV, a cashless payment system, automatic systems to count the number of passengers on board, an alarm system to instantly alert the driver, and a Central Command System to any violations or abnormalities.
The Teman Bus System is integrated with a mobile application that will allow passengers to obtain information on routes, bus stop locations, and departure schedules. You can download the app on Playstore or Appstore.

Badung Market is a large traditional market complex which is located in the heart of Denpasar, the capital of Bali. It is originally a regular traditional market that operates for 24 hours and has become the center of trading and shopping for daily needs since a long time ago. This market is located next to Kumbasari Market (on the West side), divided by Tukad Badung (Badung River), and connected by a bridge between the two markets.
This is just a perfect place to explore and get a good bargain for traditional clothes. You should try to talk with any merchant in Bahasa Indonesia.
Level 21 is one of the favorite malls for the middle class in Denpasar. Level 21 mall provides various facilities such as cinemas, gyms, fashion shops, bookstores, and many restaurants.
Plaza Renon is also a mall located in Denpasar, close to the Sanur area. The facilities available at Plaza Renon are also not much different from Level 21.
Located not too far away from Badung Market in the middle of Bali's busy capital, the historical Puputan Square commemorates the site of a mass suicide that occurred in 1906. The king of Badung, facing overwhelming opposition from Dutch colonial forces, led his court in committing suicide by keris dagger. It is a city park fringed by street food vendors and favored by the people of Denpasar, Badung, and also Gianyar for activities ranging from sports to babysitting :D
If you happen to be there, don't forget to visit the nearby Bali Museum.
It is another spot in Denpasar favored for hanging out and exercising. Bajra Sandhi Monument is located right in the center of the square. You can climb to the top to get a clear view of the city from atop -after you pay the entrance fee of course 😁. On the middle floor of this monument, there are 33 diorama units with a 2 x 3-meter dimension depicting the history of Balinese life since prehistoric times.
Lapangan Lumintang is one of the favorite places for the younger people in Denpasar to exercise, and hang out. It is often used as a venue for music concerts.
While you're at it, why don't you stop by at one of those street food sellers. Get yourself a bowl of delicious "bakso" for example. A little adjustment for your stomach 😜
