Survey teams from across the country were tested on their survey equipment knowledge, presentation skills, data gathering/plotting, and team skills. For the Carolinas Symposium, the UNC Charlotte's ASCE surveying team finished 1st place overall in competition at the Citadel in 2023. They would go on to compete at the national level in the state of Wisconsin. The surveying competition provided new connections, growth in skills necessary for professional development, and great memories.
