University of Missouri-KCCory Beard is an associate professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UMKC. He leads the BS in ECE degree program and accreditation efforts, and he is engaged in efforts to increase student degree success. His research areas include highly reliable 5G cellular networks for emergencies and other purposes of high priority to society.
