Session Description
Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that can cause inflammation and pain in any part of the body. While anyone can be diagnosed with lupus, 90% of people with lupus are women, and women of color are two-three times more likely to be diagnosed with lupus and have more severe symptoms and outcomes. This session will help you better understand this complicated disease, and how to help those living with lupus take control of the disease. You will also learn about programs and resources available for people affected by lupus.
