ADMINISTRATION AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES 

Administration:

Deputy Dean (Academic & International) of Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Task: Responsible in supporting the Dean to steer the direction of faculty’s leadership towards achieving the faculty’s strategic goals related to teaching and learning as well as internationalization, which include enrichment of student’s immersive learning experience as well as implementation of ongoing professional development for faculty’s academic personnel. 


Associate Professor of Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Task: Responsible on supervising undergraduate students for final year projects, and postgraduate students to attain higher quality education research and professionalism, developing and implementing teaching and learning material to achieve immersive and engaging learning environment, leading research team that conducts both fundamental and applied research, undertaking teaching assignments to produce well-rounded graduates, as well as publishing research findings in journals, books and disseminating knowledge and finding through conference, seminar and colloquium. 


Internal Auditor of Malaysia Research Assessment (MyRA®), Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Task: Responsible for ensuring compliance with research standards, assessing the quality of research outputs, maintaining accurate documentation, evaluating performance metrics, and fostering continuous improvement. He collaborates with stakeholders, communicates assessment findings, provides training on best practices, and submits reports to university leadership. His role aims to enhance research quality and impact at UMS in alignment with MyRA standards and objectives. 


Internal Member of Evaluation Panel (Centre for Quality Assurance – CQA), Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Task: As an Internal Member of the Evaluation Panel at the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), the primary responsibility is to contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the quality of academic programs within the university. This role involves actively participating in the evaluation and assessment processes to ensure that academic programs align with and meet the standards set by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). 


Member of Flexible Education Committee, Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Task: As a Member of the Flexible Education Committee at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), the primary responsibilities revolve around contributing to the establishment and execution of flexible education initiatives within the university. The role entails active participation in the planning and implementation phases of flexible education programs at UMS. A key focus is on leveraging technology to enhance the delivery and effectiveness of flexible education methods.

Task: Responsible in planning, implementing, training, promoting and facilitating Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Active Learning, Cooperative Learning, Problem-Based Learning for UMS Faculty of Engineering academician.

Task: Responsible in helping Centre for e-Learning UMS in promoting, training and facilitating UMS SmartV3 Learning Management System (LMS), MOOC, Micro-Credential as well as Blended-Learning for UMS academician.
