About the Conference

The 7th International Conference on Chemical & Bioprocess Engineering (ICCBPE 2026) is a flagship international event organized by the Chemical Engineering Programme, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). The conference serves as a dynamic platform for engineers, researchers, academics, and industry professionals to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and present innovative solutions that advance the field of chemical and bioprocess engineering.

Aligned with the conference theme, “Chemical Engineering as an Enabler for Championing SDGs”, ICCBPE 2026 highlights the critical role of chemical engineers in promoting sustainable development through responsible innovation, circular economy practices, green technologies, and process intensification. The conference programme features keynote lectures, technical paper presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions, enabling participants to explore practical and emerging approaches to addressing global challenges in energy, waste water management, food systems, and environmental protection. Through these engagements, ICCBPE 2026 aims to foster meaningful contributions toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
