Shiman Li is a Ph.D. Apparel Studies student with a minor in Human Factors and Ergonomics. She has a bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering from China. Her design works include robes of the Mongolian ethnic group, crochet works, and user experience design. Shiman has published papers on the topics of Dress History and Costume Design in conferences and journals. She has much experience in teaching Virtual Reality Retailing, Visual Merchandising, Knitting Technology and Dress History. Her research interests include studying textile dragon motifs in ancient China via interdisciplinary approaches.
