Fall 2024 Workshop

The kickoff workshop for the PrepareCS project was held October 22-23, 2024 in Milwaukee, WI, in conjunction with the CSforAll Summit. Ten teams spent a day and a half working towards robust CS teacher preparation in their universities. Speakers included Sara Vogel, Brianna Blaser, Carla Strickland, Charity Freeman, and Jason Bohrer. Teams spent time clarifying their visions for inclusive CS education, learning about different models of CS teacher preparation, and creating a plan for the year.
