Workshops

PrepareCS features annual in-person workshops. The kick-off workshop provides time for teams to build community, investigate models of CS teacher preparation, and establish a shared vision. At the end of each year, the in-person workshop allows teams to share and reflect on their progress and set goals for future progress.

The first workshop occurred in Fall 2024, co-located with the CSforAll Summit in Milwaukee, WI. Ten teams spent a day and a half learning about CS teacher preparation and developing a vision for their own programs.

The second workshop will occur in summer 2025, co-located with the CSTA Conference in Cleveland, OH. Joining the first cohort will be a second cohort of ten teams.
