Implementation
The GPAS team closely works with each college/program to implement the Graduate Planning and Audit System. We go through three main stages with you during the implementation process to make sure we meet the needs of your students, faculty, and staff. Below are the implementation stages and scheduled timeline of the project.
1. Consultation
College specific kick-off and consultation
Refine the college implementation
GPAS user training (ongoing, monthly)
Expect individual questions answered
2. Mapping and building
Review and map Program and Curriculum Approval System (PCAS)
Translate curriculum to PeopleSoft system
Validate GPAS build
Expect requests for clarification from GPAS team
3. Going live
Graduate Degree Plan (GDP) record conversion
Final GPAS build validation
Communications rollout
Expect support from GPAS team during GDP record conversion, final validation, and after going live with GPAS
Timeline
Sponsored by Provost Karen Hanson, the GPAS project began in spring 2015 with the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) as the pilot program.
