Annie Goerdt, Ph.D.

Annie received her doctorate from the University of Minnesota's School Psychology program. Her professional interests include school mental health, equitable measurement and assessment practices, and equity-centered multi-tiered systems of support. In her free time, Annie enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, and playing tennis.

Mahasweta Bose, M.A.

Sweta received her BA in psychology and MA in Clinical and Counselling Psychology from Panjab University in Chandigarh, India. She has previously worked as a school counsellor and in community settings with NGOs supporting children from immigrant backgrounds before returning to pursue a graduate degree. Broadly, her research interests focus on improving outcomes for children in schools from racially, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who have experienced highly stressful and traumatic events. Specifically, she is interested in examining evidence-based practices with the objective to improve access to these quality services for children and families. In her spare time, Sweta likes to read, follow dog accounts on social media, eat baked goods and binge watch crime shows. 

Greta Kos, M.A.

Greta has her BA in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa and MA in Clinical Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato where she was nudged to look into School Psychology based on her research interests and goals. Her research interests include PBIS implementation in general and alternative education settings, applied behavior analysis, classroom management and equity in schools. In her free time Greta likes to workout, read mystery novels, and cook for her friends.

Anna Li, M.A.

Anna attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for her undergraduate career, majoring in Psychology and Neurobiology. She is now a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate studying evidence-based, culturally-inclusive and equity-centered social-emotional learning. In her free time, she enjoys trying new food, watching TV, and painting.



Peter Reinke, M.A.

Peter is a School Psychology PhD student working as a graduate assistant in the lab. Having grown up in a family of educators, he has always had a passion for schools and helping students. His research interests include academic and social, emotional, and behavioral interventions and their implementation. When he is not assisting in research activities or engaged in classwork, you can find Peter out enjoying some of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes! 

Emma Murphy, M.A.

Emma Murphy received her BA in Psychology and French Studies from the College of Saint Benedict where she discovered her professional interest in school psychology. She is now a third-year PhD student whose research interests center on culturally responsive practices that support LGBTQ+ youth mental health.  Outside of research and class, Emma enjoys reading, knitting, and rock climbing!

Abigail Decipeda

Abby received her BS in Human Development & Family Science from the Ohio State University in 2019. She previously worked as a City Year Americorps member and as a clinical research coordinator before pursuing a degree in school psychology. Her research interests are related to evidence-based prevention and intervention for students' social, emotional, and behavioral functioning. She is particularly interested in the development and implementation of equitable, culturally-responsive mental health services. In her spare time, Abby likes going to concerts, playing board games, and spending time outside.
