President - Phoebe Morgan

Phoebe is a junior majoring in biomedical engineering.  She has been a member of one of the design competition teams for two years and has worked on the exec board as Technical Workshop Director. Phoebe is excited to work together with the exec board to encourage new members and build a strong EWH community here at the U of M. Outside of class, she enjoys hiking, reading, and playing bass guitar. Feel free to reach out to her with any questions!

Vice President - Aditya Parida

Aditya is a junior studying electrical engineering. He has been part of EWH since his freshman year, working with the design team as part of the club. Outside of the club, he is also interested in sustainability via engineering. In his free time, he enjoys reading, cooking, hanging out with friends, watching Formula 1 and trying new things!

Treasurer - Christopher Gross

Chris is a sophomore in biomedical engineering and was a member of the blue light therapy device competition team last year which created a phototherapy device to treat newborns with jaundice. He enjoys hiking, reading, getting boba with friends, and looks forward to another great year with his team.

Secretary - dalena young

Dalena is a junior in biomedical engineering and this is her first year as secretary. She currently does biomechanics research with Victor Barocas and has for the past year. She hopes to use my BME degree in the field of prosthetics and orthotics, bringing a higher quality of life to many by solving everyday problems. Outside of EWH,  Dalena enjoys reading, climbing, doing new things, and spending time with those she loves.

Margaret is a Junior in biomedical engineering and last year she was a member of the light therapy device competition team. She enjoys boba runs, thrifting, and playing piano and flute. Margaret is excited to welcome all the new members this year!

Chair of Outreach - Devna Panda

Devna is a junior studying biomedical engineering. She has been a member of EWH for the past two years and served as the Chair of Outreach last year. Devna's passion for social impact has caused her to be interested in pursuing a career as a physician. She loves to write, read, work out, and engage in community service in her spare time.

Design Competition Team Lead - Nicholas Stenlund

Nic is a sophmore studying electrical engineering from Shoreview, Minnesota. He has been a member of the design team since September of 2022, working on the autoclave diagnostic tool that took 3rd place. Nic is committed to the personal and technical growth of the design team members. He hopes to continue to be competitive in the design competition for years to come. In his free time he enjoys being a part of Men's Crew here at the University of Minnesota.

Design Competition Team Lead - Preston le

Preston is a junior studying biomedical engineering. Last year, he was a member of a design competition team that constructed a phototherapy machine for neonatal jaundice, and is excited to share his experience with others again as a team lead. Outside of classes, Preston enjoys writing music for piano, creating electronics, and investigating immune cells at his research lab.

Technical Workshops Director - Rachel Hilby

Rachel is a junior majoring in biomedical engineering and computer science. Last year she studied abroad but the year before she was apart of one of the medical device teams, helping build a neonatal incubator for 3rd world countries. This is her first year on the board and she's excited to get back to building and learning about biomedical breakthroughs and problems. Rachel enjoys reading, playing games,  competing in sports, and baking.

Webmaster - Quan Dang

Quan is a senior studying computer engineering. It's his third year in the Design Competition. Quan is also involved in undergrad research focusing on improving an irradiance meter. In his free, he likes to hang out with friends, play basketball, and read books. Go Wolves and Skol!
