Dannica is a senior studying biomedical engineering and management. Previously, she has been an e-NABLE member, an intern and member of the design competition team, chair of membership development and Vice President of EWH. She has worked in Systems Engineering at Medtronic for their Cardiac Rhythm Management division and she currently does directed research with anesthesiologists on campus. In her free time, she loves to go out with friends, ski, go to the gym and listen to music. Dannica is looking forward to strengthening EWH this year and she's always happy to answer any questions!
Adam is a senior in biomedical engineering. Last year, Adam served as the President of EWH and was also involved with the design competition team. Outside of school, Adam enjoys reading, working out and meeting new people. With that being said, feel free to reach out to him if you have any questions. Aditya is a sophomore studying electrical engineering. He has been part of EWH since his freshman year, working with the design team as part of the club. Outside of the club, he is also interested in sustainability via engineering. In his free time, he enjoys reading, cooking, hanging out with friends, watching Formula 1 and trying new things!
Kelsey is a senior studying biomedical engineering with an emphasis in medical device design. She has been a member of the EWH board for the past two years. Kelsey is currently working as an R&D engineering co-op at Medtronic in their structural heart division. She hopes to continue to work in the medical device industry after graduation to pursue her passion for providing others with the innovative healthcare they deserve! Outside of EWH, Kelsey loves music, reading and just spending quality time with friends and family.
Adam is a senior in biomedical engineering. Last year, Austin served as the Treasurer of EWH and was also a member of the neonatal incubator design competition team. Outside of class, he enjoys reading, hammocking and hanging out with friends. Austin is very excited to welcome all the new members this year!
Devna is a sophomore studying biomedical engineering. She was a member of EWH last year and participated in the design competition team. Devna's passion for social impact has caused her to be interested in pursuing a career as a physician. She loves to write, read, work out and engage in community service in her spare time.
Matthew is a senior studying mechanical engineering from Denver, Colorado. He has been a member of the design competition team since January 2020, designing electronics and sensory input for the team's prototype mechanical ventilator device, and served as Team Lead in 2021 on the high-volume IV pump project. He has been a Pharma Operations Engineering Intern and a Test Engineering Intern for Medtronic over the past two summers, working on design and manufacturing of cardiac implantable devices. In his free time, he enjoys performing with the Pride of Minnesota Marching Band, cooking, hiking and cycling.
Rigo is a senior studying computer engineering. He was part of the design competition team who built the baby incubator last year, taking care of the sensors and Arduino coding. Once he graduates, he would like to put his skills to use helping people in the medical field. Rigo's hobbies include playing video games, playing bass guitar and airsoft. Most of all, he's very excited to meet and work with the new club members this year!
Marguerite is a junior in biomedical engineering with a passion for improving the quality of life for people regardless of their income. She has been a part of the Medical Device Repair Team since her freshman year. She currently works for the physics department and has previously worked for Illumina as an R&D engineering intern. In her free time, she loves biking, hiking, reading and playing with her kitten Paprika. Feel free to ask her any questions about the Med Device Team or anything else!
Phoebe is a sophomore majoring in biomedical engineering. Last year, she was a member of one of the design competition teams for EWH and worked on developing a low-cost neonatal incubator for developing countries. This is Phoebe's first year on the EWH board and she is excited to help others fine-tune their technical skillsets at the workshops this year. Outside of class, she enjoys hiking, reading and playing bass guitar (and is open to starting a band if you are)!
Preston is a sophomore studying biomedical engineering. He is also involved with the Design Competition and the Medical Device Repair Team. In addition to medical devices, he loves cellular and molecular biology. Outside of academics, Preston enjoys writing piano music, swimming competitively, folding origami, and working with electronics.
