Forms
Fill out the New Employee Form (electronic, requires sign-in). Once submitted, a request for approval will be routed to the listed supervisor, then routed to cluster staff for processing.
Filling out this form ensures department staff can create mailbox, add to appropriate listservs, lab roster, etc.
HR On-boarding
Schedule a CBS HR on-boarding appointment by emailing CBSHR@umn.edu.
Please note, Julia Sherbert (sherb073@umn.edu) is the HR Generalist assigned to EEB.
Training
Safety training is handled at the University by the Department of Environment Health and Safety (DEHS).
Safety training is required for all employees, students, and volunteers prior to starting work in the lab. Depending on the type of work that is done in the lab, different trainings are required.

Access
Visit Key/U-Card Access Requests for space access.
Orientation and Registration
Information about first year course registration will be provided at orientation.
You will complete your federal I-9 form at orientation.
International students should complete International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) check-in prior to orientation.
