NOTE: Longitudinal Integrated Clerkships (LICs) often offer electives specific to their program. Reach out to your academic advisor for questions on which courses are covered by the LIC.
Students may schedule up to 100 credits in their clinical years. If a student is considering taking more than 100 credits, approval to override this limit is required. Please reach out to your academic advisor for more information if seeking approval to go over 100 credits.
If a student takes acting internship credits above the 4 credit requirement, those additional credits may be counted towards the hands-on elective credit requirement.
Students are not allowed to earn academic credit and be paid a salary specifically based on the work required for the electives, except in the Rural Physician Associate Program (RPAP).
