Complete a Minimum of 120 credits.
Achieve a grade of C- or better in all courses required for your major.
All required classes in your major must be taken for a grade (A-F), unless only offered S/N.
At least 75% of credits taken at the University of Minnesota must be taken on A-F grading basis.
Your APAS (Academic Progress Audit System) report lists your degree requirements, summarizes your progress, and explains what you will need to do to complete your undergraduate degree program. APAS draws its information from the official student record. Each time the report is processed, it contains the most up-to-date information.
There are two reports you can run in the Academic Progress Audit System:
Run a What-If APAS:
Running a What-if APAS allows you to see how your completed and/or in-progress coursework fits with the current requirements of any program (i.e. major, minor, or certificate). Follow the steps in the visual guide below to review your 'hypothetical' progress in a program of your choice:
Run Declared Programs:
This report will list the requirements for any declared academic program(s) (e.g, the major, minor, or certificate) on your record. This report allows you to see how your completed, in-progress, future-term enrolled coursework fulfills the requirements for that program. To view your degree progress, follow the instructions in the visual guide linked below:

*Undeclared Students: Students who have not yet declared a program (major, minor, or certificate, would only see their liberal education requirements with this type of report.
When to Run your APAS report:
Students are encouraged to check their APAS report at the following times:
When they register for classes
When they change their registration (i.e., drop or swap a class)
Before they meet with their advisor
When they are ready to apply to graduate
After grades are posted
