Generative AI, or GenAI, has received a lot of attention lately because of the potential impacts on education. Our team is committed to staying current with teaching and GenAI. We will update this page as we develop new resources.
This guide was developed as a primer to generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and to help instructors to determine their own position on GenAI use for teaching and learning. It serves as the handout to the Teaching and Generative AI presentation.

With the current capabilities of GenAI in mind, we looked at the role we might like AI to play in our courses and how to draft a syllabus statement that matches. We discussed strategies for facilitating conversations with students about GenAI use.
