Martha Scott Johnson
Martha Scott Johnson (she/her/hers)
OSCAS Assistant Director - Undergraduate Programs
MSJ@umn.edu | Twin Cities
Martha has been advising at the U of M since 2015 and joined the School of Nursing in January 2020. Prior to advising, Martha worked in community service and leadership programming at colleges in the southeast. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor’s from Appalachian State University.
In her free time, you’re likely to find Martha reading, out for a bike ride or on a run, snuggling her cats (Juniper and Fern), spending time with her niece (Maddy), or attempting small house projects with her spouse (Josh). Martha loves to talk books with advisees, she's been known to spend half an appointment exchanging book recommendations (only if the student is a willing participant). If you've read something good lately, bring it up in advising!
