Please note: further updates from the Orientation team will be added throughout the summer. The primary method of communication regarding Orientation will be email.

Orientation Intake Forms

The initial information on Twin Cities Orientation, including the White Coat Order Form, was sent out to all incoming Twin Cities students on June 4. If you are joining the class after that date and haven't heard from the Orientation team yet, please reach out to Hannah at cart0633@umn.edu to get up to speed!

Further intake forms to capture name tag information, dietary restrictions, and other information we need to prepare you for a successful Orientation will be sent out in mid-July. Please complete those forms as soon as possible upon receipt.

Orientation Pre-Work

Pre-work is hosted on Canvas, the University's course content management platform (your classes will use this platform, too). Canvas access will be granted early/mid July; complete pre-work by August 17, 2026.

Orientation pre-work will include video content, written content, and a few forms. For a balanced workload, plan for approx. 2-3 hours of work per week from mid-July through August 17.
