This checklist is for students in the incoming medical school class beginning their studies on the Twin Cities campus in Fall 2026.
Please complete the tasks/forms by the dates provided. All tasks are required unless noted otherwise.

The rising MS2 class creates and administrates social media groups for incoming MS1s, for those interested in connecting with their soon-to-be classmates. These sites are student-led and not monitored by Medical School staff.
Complete Certiphi Criminal Background Check (initiated by AMCAS).
Complete the background check within two weeks of receiving the request. This allows for ample processing time.
