This checklist is for students in the incoming medical school class beginning their studies on the Twin Cities campus in Fall 2026.
Please complete the tasks/forms by the dates provided. All tasks are required unless noted otherwise.Â

Join the MS1 social media groups (optional).
Any time after the groups are created (January-ish).
The rising MS2 class creates and administrates social media groups for incoming MS1s, for those interested in connecting with their soon-to-be classmates. These sites are student-led and not monitored by Medical School staff.
Submit Final Official Transcripts.
Required for students who had their bachelor’s degree and/or prerequisite courses in progress or incomplete at the time of application.

Submit AAMC Matriculating Student Questionnaire (MSQ) (optional, but strongly encouraged).

You will receive the questionnaire via email from AAMC to the email address used for your AMCAS application. Reach out to AAMC with any questions.
July 1 - October 1, 2026
If you have not had the Hepatitis B series or do not have documented immunity, you should make an appointment right away for the first dose, as there is usually a 6-month span between doses, and this is also due by October 1st.
Boynton will begin accepting student health records the first week of July.
