Zephyr IS imaging a future where THE convenience OF SAFETY feels like a breeze.
Our product design team at the University of Michigan is exploring how we might make bike helmets more portable, in ways that are more readily accessible and convenient for everyday commuters.
As many urban environments are investing in micro-mobility initiatives to promote greener economies and lower carbon emissions, bike safety will become ever so more important as more pedestrians pick up bicycling as their primary form of transportation. Recognizing that common commuters are moving from place to place day to day, Zephyr is a bike helmet locking solution that brings convenience and security to everyday bike rides, making safety more portable and commuting more hassle free. Mounted on the top tube of a bike frame between the rider's seat and the handlebars, Zephyr allows bike riders to store their helmet with their bike anywhere, anytime without hassle. Being easily accessible to the rider any time they're going for a commute, bike riders never have to forget about wearing their helmet and prioritizing safety because it will always be with them.
