The inaugural 2026 cohort of the NSF REU Site: Urban Watershed Science brought together 10 undergraduate scholars for an intensive 10-week research experience at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Scholars conducted interdisciplinary research focused on environmental challenges in the Rouge River watershed while participating in field experiences, professional development, and scientific communication activities.
