Welcome to your summer home! The Union will be your residence for the duration of the REU program. Located at the heart of campus, the Union provides a comfortable and convenient living space, placing you just steps away from campus resources, dining options, and the vibrant campus community. We are excited for you to experience all the Union has to offer during your 10-week stay.
For your 10-week stay, you'll be living in the Union. Your room will be furnished with a bed, desk, chair, and a closet to store your belongings. Please note that linens and towels are not provided, so you'll need to bring your own. Bathrooms are communal and located on each floor. You'll also have access to shared common areas, including lounges, study rooms, and kitchens on each floor, perfect for relaxing or studying.
To make your stay as comfortable as possible, the Union offers a range of convenient amenities:
Dining: The Union has on-site cafes and is close to several restaurants and a grocery store. Meal plans are not included, so you'll have the flexibility to manage your own meals.
Laundry: Laundry facilities are available on each floor and operate with a reloadable card or an app.
Wi-Fi and Connectivity: Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the Union. We will provide you with login instructions upon your arrival.
Security: Your safety is a top priority. The Union is staffed 24/7, and access to the building and residential floors is secured with key card access.
Mail and Packages: You can receive mail and packages during your stay. We will provide a detailed mailing address and pick-up procedures during orientation.
