Doing things you enjoy: Participating in activities you enjoy can help you feel in control. Find something you enjoy doing, even if it's only for a few minutes each day.
Increasing positive emotions or experiences: People with chronic pain often experience a lot of negative emotions. Doing things specifically to increase positive emotions or experiences can help offset some of these negative feelings and restore balance.
