The C-CES team has identified four key barriers that have hindered the advancement of biocatalysis in the United States. To overcome these challenges, the team has proposed four distinct scientific research areas, each focused on addressing one of these obstacles. By leveraging the collective expertise and synergy of its members, C-CES aims to drive exponential progress in the field—achieving breakthroughs that would be impossible for individual laboratories to accomplish alone.
