To evaluate the effectiveness of the BioCatalysis 101 workshop, we sent out a pre- and post-survey designed to measure participants' knowledge in the five key focus areas of the workshop:  bioinformatics, directed evolution, high-throughput screening, protein engineering, and preparative-scale reactions.
