Winter Stonefly Volunteer Event - Saturday, January 28, 2023
Join HRWC's annual Winter Stonefly Search volunteer event. As part of a long-term river study, each January, HRWC looks for "winter stoneflies". Like canaries in a coal mine, stoneflies tell us a lot about the health of the river. Sign-up is required.
Suds on the River 2023 - September 7, 2023, 6-9pm, Delhi Metropark
Save the Date! Suds on the River is HRWC’s annual fundraising event located at Delhi Metropark on the Huron River. It's an evening under the stars with gourmet food and craft brews, live music around a campfire, fly-fishing demos and great friends.
Ann Arbor's Natural Area Preservation Volunteer Stewardship Days - These occur nearly every weekend in 3-hour blocks. Volunteering opportunities include removing invasive species, surveying wildlife, conducting prescribed burns, and more! There are also often educational nature walks through Ann Arbor's parks.
