Madelyn Epstein is a sophomore studying Architecture at the University of Maryland. Like a true Jersey girl, Madelyn enjoys going to the beach and eating bagels. She also enjoys running and being active, hanging out with her friends, painting, and being outside. Her favorite person to be around and hangout with is her twin sister Sloan. In her future, Maddie hopes to work in construction and help global warming by making buildings more sustainable and ecofriendly. A second year of college has begun for Madelyn, and she can't wait to make new memories with her friends and learn more skills while studying at the University of Maryland.
As a College Park Arts Scholar, Madelyn hopes to spend more time on her artistic side. She is excited to continue growing her love for the arts community. As an architecture major, Maddie is looking forward to fostering a greater connection between the arts and architecture. One of the many benefits of Arts Scholars are the fantastic field trips provided. Madelyn is looking forward to attending one every semester to experience art that she wouldn't on her own. These field trips will also take her out of the College Park area where she can discover a plethora of new places all over Maryland!
