Miranda is a UMass Boston alumna of the Global Governance and Human Security (GGHS) PhD program. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Brasília and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Conflict Resolution. An Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at San Diego State University, she specializes in environmental governance in the Amazon region. Her research examines environmental social movements and their influence on political institutions, policymaking, and governance.

Paige Groves received her Bachelor's degree in Communication at UMass Boston and is now earning her certificate in Conflict Resolution. Her goal is to apply these skills to student leadership and supervision, creating environments where conflict becomes an opportunity for growth, collaboration, and stronger relationships.

Rebecca Gold received her Bachelor's degree in American Studies at Mount Holyoke College and is now earning her certificate in Conflict Resolution. After decades of working as an advertising copywriter, she is now excited to transition into a Conflict Resolution role.

• Workplace Mediation

Stephanie received her Bachelor's degree in Marketing at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is now earning her certificate in Conflict Resolution. She is pursuing this certificate to explore career opportunities in conflict resolution, particularly the role of an organizational ombudsman, where she hopes to help individuals navigate challenging situations with fairness, compassion, and integrity.

Rala holds a BA in Modern Languages (Italian and French) from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, and an MA and PhD in Italian Studies from Brown University. She currently works in Higher Education, and hopes to apply her skills in conflict resolution to educational and union environments.

Paloma received her Bachelor's degree at the University of Massachusetts Boston, double majoring in Psychology and Sociology. She is currently earning an online certificate degree in Conflict Resolution. Her career goals involve community building and building bridges between people and institutions.
