Welcome to Gulph Elementary School!
....building our classroom community and learning what it means to be a great Gulph Gator! We’ve established our class families and continuously talk about how working together helps us do our best learning.
We’ve also been reviewing important 1st-grade skills to make sure we have a strong foundation for all the exciting 2nd-grade learning ahead.
This month, we’ve been learning about Hispanic Heritage Month and the different holidays celebrated by members of our community, including Yom Kippur, Rosh Hashanah, and Diwali.
Some of our 2nd grades had an opportunity to visit our wonderful Gulph Garden! Students were able to harvest carrots that they had planted last spring as 1st graders!
Next week, we’re heading to the River Bend Environmental Center for our first field trip! We can’t wait to explore nature, dive into hands-on STEM activities, and learn from River Bend’s amazing educators.
We’re looking forward to our Fall Harvest Party at the end of the month too—it’s going to be a fun way to celebrate the end of another month in 2nd grade!
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our learning, growing, and adventures!
