Ula Camping: Pure Nature, No Cars, Total Freedom
Experience the unique charm of a traditional, car-free tent-only campsite. At Ula Camping, we believe in simplicity and spontaneity. We operate on a drop-in basis with no reservations and no numbered plots—just find your perfect spot among the trees and settle in.
Arrival & Smooth Check-In
Since the campsite is a peaceful, vehicle-free zone, here is how to get settled:
Parking: Follow the blue signs for “Parkering badeplass” (approx. 300 meters before the harbor) for free campsite parking. A scenic footpath (marked in blue) leads directly to the site.
Note: If you have heavy luggage, drive down to Ula Harbor first to borrow one of our trolleys.
Luggage Trolleys: You’ll find our blue trolleys near the sign to Ula Camping in the marina or by the campsite reception. To help your fellow campers, please return the trolley to the station immediately after unloading and before pitching your tent.
Registration: Visit the reception to pick up a laminated tent number for each tent. Check-in and pay easily online with Vipps or at the kiosk.
Find Your Spot: Pitch your tent anywhere you like, provided it is at least 4 meters from other tents (fire safety) and behind the white-painted trees marking the beach boundary. Display your tent number clearly.
Facilities
Enjoy the "retro" charm of our classic campsite facilities:
Service Center: Clean toilets and showers with credit cards and a small kitchenette for basic cooking.
Fresh Water: Drinkable water stations are located across the site.
Environment: Large garbage containers are available—help us keep this coastal gem pristine.
Check-Out & Stay Duration
Check-out is at 12:00 (noon). * Want to stay longer? No problem! Simply re-register and pay before noon to keep your spot.
You are welcome to enjoy the beach and site after packing up your tent—just remember to return your tent number to the reception.
