Mercedes Sanz Gil is associate professor in French Philology at Universitat Jaume I (UJI), Spain. She is a teacher in the University Master Degree Intercultural Communication and Language Teaching and coordinator from 2009 to 2015. She has been Academic Director in Office of International Relations at UJI from 2014 to 2018.
Her research lines revolve around the application of ICTs in language learning, and especially French as a foreign language, the teaching learning of languages and cultures in multilingual and multicultural contexts, the autonomy of learning, the accreditation of languages and international relations. She is a member of the research groups TRAP (Translation and Postmonolingualism) of the UJI and ATLAS (Applying Technology to Languages) of the UNED.
She is also participant in the Educational Innovation Network SLATES (Second Life Applied to Tutorials in Higher Education).
