I grew up in Newnan, GA, a suburban town about an hour south of Atlanta. That's what I say whenever I describe it because very few people know "The City of Homes" off the top of their head. My childhood in this center of suburbia took place in a neighborhood with few other children, so I often had to make my own fun.

I was always imaginative as a child, but it took me a while to develop it into anything substantial. I often just copied whatever I saw on television. When I finally did develop my own creative voice, though, I leaned into it as much as I could. That is what has made me into the person I am today.

That is also why I decided to major in Entertainment and Media Studies when I started college. My main goal in life has been and will always be to create as much as possible and to show people my creations. Writing is the way that I plan to do that. If I can make just a few people smile with what I write, I will be the happiest person in the world.
