UD Tech provides a wide range of opportunities for students looking to learn the aspects of technical theatre. Students work closely to build and paint sets, create props, hang and plot lights, and work the sound boards. Opportunities also lie in the creation and design of costumes, makeup, and hair. The Public Relations crew works to design posters and provide community outreach for the shows. After working at tech days and rehearsals and expressing interest in the production, students are placed on a crew and given a schedule to work the shows. Overall, tech is a fun way for everyone to be involved in each and every production.
