Known as "Senior Dramatics," the club put on productions such as "The Robe" and "Inner Willie." The group also visited Philadelphia to see a production of "Wonderful Town."
With the auditorium completed in 1962, the high school was able to stage shows such as "Teahouse of the August Moon," "My Three Angels," and "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes."
Under a new name, the Upper Dublin Little Theatre Group returns with productions such as "Brigadoon" and "Our Town."
In 1976, the Upper Dublin Little Theatre Group was quickly renamed for the Bicentennial.Â
Rebranded as "The Cardinal Players," the group moves to stage a production of "Macbeth."
The group becomes known as "Drama Club" and presents "The Matchmakers," under the new leadership of Miss Calvani.
In 1981, the Drama Club begins a second group known as "The Cardinal Players" which competed in play festivals across the county.
Under the direction of Mrs. Debbie Thompson, the Drama Club forms Thespian Troupe #5900 and begins attending an annual conference in York, PA.
Upper Dublin becomes the pilot production of Disney's "High School Musical," a hit which swept the nation at the time.
Upon the completion of the Black Box Theatre and the Auditorium, the Drama Club stages "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," "Alice in Wonderland, Jr.," and "Legally Blonde."
Under the direction of Ms. Nicole Gerenyi, the group rebrands as "The Upper Dublin Theatre Department" showing "Dracula," "High School Musical, Jr.," and "Annie Get Your Gun" in their first season.
The Upper Dublin Theatre Department continues to stage three productions a year in their various spaces under the direction of Ms. Nicole Gerenyi.
