SRMS Choir

Welcome,

Thank you for participating in the SRMS Choir, Upper Dublin School District's Middle School Choir program directed by Mr. Nathaniel Arnold.   The Choir will focus on continuing to learn technique, expression, and vocal health while singing some fun, interesting and educational choral music.  We are so excited to work with you this year! 

Participation

All students  are accountable for all in class rehearsal as well as full choir rehearsals and performances.   ABSOLUTELY NO Gum, food, cell phones, books, or other homework out during instructional time.  After school or night rehearsals will be scheduled well in advance for the students.  Any conflicts need to be accounted for with a parent email or telephone message.

Concerts - All concerts are mandatory and on the school calendar.  If you are unable to attend a concert you must make up the grade with an assignment chosen by Mr. Arnold. Please make note of these dates:

 Extra Curricular Groups – Participation/Credit

SR Select (SRFX) – 

• Auditioned

• Meets after School weekly for 60 minutes

• Will perform for all Concerts (includes MIOSM) and Tentative Community Events

Appropriate Performance Dress

• Black Dress Shirt or Blouse, NO jackets, NO logos
• Black Dress Slacks or Long Skirt
• Black Dress Socks or Black Leggings
• Comfortable Shoes (Preferably Dark Color)
• Red tie or Red Splash above the waist (this can have a pattern on it but the principle color MUST be Cardinal Red)
