Mr. Nathaniel Arnold graduated from Wissahickon High School in Ambler, Pa. in 1993. He studied Music Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Piano Major and a French Horn Minor from 1993-1997. During his college years, Mr. Arnold participated in The IUP Chorale, IUP Concert Band, IUP French Horn Ensemble, and IUP Legend Marching Band. He served as Drum Major for the Marching Band as a senior in 1996.
Mr. Arnold began his teaching career as a 4th-6th Grade Band Director in the Upper Perkiomen Middle and Elementary Schools in the fall of 1997. He also taught 6th Grade General Music classes during his first year in the School District. Mr. Arnold's position changed his second year, as he became the 5th-8th Grade Band Director. He stayed at this position for the next four years continuing the growth of the program and expanding the Jazz Band Curriculum. He also served as the assistant band director for the Upper Perkiomen High School Marching Band during these years. Along with the High School director (and Mr. Arnold's college friend) Domenic Pisano, Bands in Review was created, which has become a middle school/high school tradition in the school district.
Mr. Arnold left the Upper Perkiomen School District in the fall of 2002 to become the High School Choral Director for the Upper Dublin School District. He has served in this capacity since that time. He finished his Masters of Music Education in 2006 from West Chester University. Mr. Arnold currently directs all choral groups at the high school and Sandy Run Middle School (Concert, Chorale, UD V0X, 7th/8th Grade Choir, 6th Grade Choir, and SRFX). He served as the vocal musical director for the theater program headed by Nicole Gerenyi from 2005-2020. Such musical credits include:

Mr. Arnold has also served as the Choir Director/Bell Choir Director/Organist for Calvary United Methodist Church in Ambler for the past twenty-seven years. He is in his ninth year as a co-director for the choral group on the American Music Abroad Bronze Tour under the leadership of Dr. James Capolupo. He has directed in France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. Mr. Arnold is also a composer/arranger of choral and instrumental music.
Mr. Arnold has several past students that have continued on in the field of music and have been able to successfully continue the tradition of great music.
