Honors

For the serious vocalist, this course offers each student the opportunity for a more in-depth study of musical technique and style in performance, as well as increasing the student’s knowledge of more advanced music theory.  Each student is expected to complete the quarterly course requirements set forth by each instructor. General requirements include the preparation of the audition material for the PMEA District 11 Festival, participation in an Upper Dublin-sanctioned musical organization beyond the curricular offerings and a performance as a soloist or in a small ensemble at a community or school function.  Additional requirements unique to each musical discipline are available by contacting the appropriate instructor.
