Overview of your project
(Criteria A, Strand i): Explain why you chose this topic and how it reflects your personal interests. Discuss how the project connects with your personal interest (experiences/aspirations).
Learning Goal (Criteria A, Strand i): Clearly state the learning goal of the project. This should reflect what you want to understand or achieve. The learning goal should connect with your topic and your personal interest.
(Optional) Global Context: Explain which global context (See here.) aligns with your project and why.
Product Goal (Criteria A, Strand ii): Define what your final product or outcome will be. Ensure that the product goal is clear and achievable.
Process Journal
Step-by-step Action Plan (Criteria A, Strand iii): Include deadlines, milestones, and specific tasks. Later on, reflect on how this plan helped organize your process and how adjustments were made.
Use the process journal to track your progress. Include reflections, how you solved problems, and any changes in the process journal.
Report any challenges you faced and how you addressed them. Document the decisions that you made along the way and how they impacted the outcome.
Research and Planning
Initial Research: Outline the research you conducted to start your project (e.g. gathering information about techniques, materials, any background knowledge).
Be specific about sources used (books, websites, interviews, experiments, etc).
Success Criteria (Criteria A, Strand ii): What specific outcomes or qualities are you aiming for? How is it directly related to the product goal? How will you measure them?
Planning Process (Criteria A, Strand iii): Discuss how the action plan guided your work and the tools used for organizing tasks. If changes were made to your plan, explain why.
Creating the product
Step-by-Step: Describe each stage of creating the product. Explain how research helped you with these stages and how your product evolved from the initial concept to the final version.
Reflect on how Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills (e.g., self-management, research, critical thinking) were applied. For example:
(Criteria B, Strand i): Discuss how ATL skills (e.g, research, organization, and communication) helped you achieve the learning goals.
(Criteria B, Strand ii): Reflect on how ATL skills (e.g, creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills) were applied to create the product successfully.
Outcome
Describe and present the final product in detail. Include images, videos, or other materials to showcase your product.
(Criteria C, Strand ii): Evaluate your product based on the success criteria you made during the planning stage. Compare the product to your original vision and goal and assess its effectiveness in meeting your objectives!
Evaluation and reflection
Reflect on whether the project met your expectations and goals. Talk about the strengths and weaknesses of both your learning and product outcome.
(Criteria C, Strand i): Evaluate how the project impacted your understanding of the topic, and how you have developed as a person.
(Criteria C, Strand ii): Discuss what worked well in your product and where improvements could be made. How would you change the project if you were given more time?
Consider how the project could be further developed, and reflect on how this experience might influence your future projects.

Formatting requirements for the MYP Personal Project report:
Your supervisor is responsible for guiding you on the format of the report, which should be adjusted based on your learning preferences and personal strengths.
To ensure that the report can be easily read, each page of the report must have a minimum of:
11 point font size.
2 cm margins.
