explain how the ATL skill(s) was/were applied to help achieve their product
RED = Important for the criteria.
1. EXPLAIN HOW THE ATL SKILL(S) WAS/WERE APPLIED TO HELP ACHIEVE THEIR LEARNING GOAL
To get an 8, you MUST keep track of the ATL skills you apply in your process with examples through your process journal to do this. This is VERY important because this means you have evidence.
There are many ATL skills, and you should be provided a list of them which you can apply to your project. This is used as evidence.
To get an 8, you must write how these skills helped your learning goal become successful.
EXAMPLE: "My learning goal is to learn how to design a keychain and develop marketing skills."
One of the ATL skills this student could've did is Social Skills, specifically their collaboration skills. They could've used social media to form relationships online to get their feedback on her product or advertising, to see if they wanted to buy her product, or if it was still trendy. This quickly crosses off one of the ATL skills on the list which is "use social media networks appropriately to build and develop relationships."
When writing in your report, you MUST have detailed examples and evidence for this. Refer back to the set of ATL skills or your process journal!

EXAMPLE: "My product is to design a keychain."
One of the ATL skills that could've helped them achieve their product is Research Skills, specifically media literacy skills. To design the keychain, the student had to have used examples or data regarding keychain to improve or get ideas for their own. This quickly crosses off one of the ATL skills on the list "seek a range of perspectives from multiple and varied sources."
