THDR Group is an AI-based fashion technology company with 2 already launched primary brands: Theodore (luxury menswear) and Rehmai (luxury womenswear). They are soon launching their next brand, a generative design platform for all customers to create personalized garments.
The new brand based on their SenseThread technology allows users to input text, images, and other prompts based on designs or styles they are interested in. The AI technology will generate entirely unique designs based on the company's factory capabilities. Users can further refine their garments with additional prompts to be exactly as they desire. The technology will also learn user's individual style preferences to suggest generated garments in a curated shopping feed.
All garments with the company are made-to-measure and custom to their wearer. This addresses a few issues: customer frustration with standardized sizing, sustainability concerns with excess "deadstock," and an oversaturated fast fashion market.
Made-to-measure garments offer a personalized and accurate fit through AI body scanning, accomplished through the company's Pocket Tailor technology. With the Theodore brand, this technology has at least a 97.5% accuracy and is guaranteed a perfect fit. This technique of custom fit allows convenience and accessibility to the brand from a distance.
Our project as an extension of the company was focused on their newest brand. We analyzed the business, including potential competitors, partners, and investors; planned details of launch events in Sydney, London, and New York, including runway shows, pop-up shops, and launch and after parties; developed strategies for Google, billboard, and social media advertising; considered details such as a loyalty program, garment care instructions, and the returns process; formulated branding including the name, logo, color story, signature fonts, and slogan; and worked with the AI technology to train it on garment specifications.
