Song of Myself Who am I?I am Lizdi F. A young girl who loves the summer and the beach, probably like you.The waves, the water, the rides, people having fun. I walk on the boardwalk,Wind blowing my hair all over my face,Hearing laughter and screaming from the rides. I enjoy smiling from ear to ear, Just enjoying every second of the summertime. You can see people in their bathing suits, Kids and others playing in the sand, While also seeing some playing games like volleyball. I run on the sand to see the way it gets in between my toes.You can tell by my face that it gets hotter and hotter,Running to the water to get my feet cold, I kick around the ocean water in joy, Keeping my feet from the burning sand. I lie under the umbrella so I don’t get burnt by the bright sun. My face growing bright red from being hot,Having a wet towel from the ocean swim,And hearing the sound of the seagulls and waves. Falling asleep for thirty minutes from being tired, Waking up to order boardwalk fries in my towel,With cold water and the sounds of music in the background. The beach gives me joy. We are making great memories, Every second spent there is something new to add. --Lizdi F.
