Ride sharing is a continuously growing industry however there is still much room to grow especially on college campuses. In order to promote the use of ride sharing and carpooling on campus we feel it is essential to involve the university and incentivize the students to do so.
By involving the university we could offer benefits to the students who choose to go green and ride share such as reduced or even free parking on campus for those who are carpooling to class. Another idea is a university run ride sharing service designed for students with the intention of carpooling students to similar locations on campus.
